Should I stage my home to sell?

Posted by on Nov 20, 2014 in Uncategorized | No Comments

There is only one reply….YES!!   Every home can use staging whether it’s minor..things like moving furniture, adding or removing rugs and window treatments, accessorizing, artwork or major which would include painting, fixing, bringing in a whole home of new furniture, rugs, window treatments, art and accessories.

I have a little craftsman beach house listed that is full of original charm.  I brought in some accessories and artwork for the home, no furniture and it made a world of difference.

Bringing in the right accessories and artwork help they eye to move around the property, so in a sense by staging, you have input as how the buyer views the property.  Certain colors call for attention and take the attention away from the less desirable aspects that every property has.

Here is an example of the kitchen before staging:

If you are thinking of selling and would like some staging suggestions, you are welcome to email me a photo of your rooms and I’m happy to give you some suggestions of changes you can make.
